- * Help patients with personal hygiene by giving them bedpans,bathing those who cant, rubbing their backs with ointments and pomades, adding shampoos to the hair of those who cant, shaving those who cant and not willing, helping patients to travel to the bathroom and easing places to receive comfort and ventilation, helping with showers and baths.
- * Gives patients adjunct care by providing enemas and assisting usage, douches, surgical preps, nonsterile dressing ,giving them ice packs, heat treatments, therapeutic baths and sitz and applying restraints.
- * Participating in patients daily activities by helping them and serving them meals, feeding those who cant, ambulating, turning patients to sideways and other suitable positions, providing them with fresh water and nutritional meals.
- * Providing resources to patients like materials, bed spreads,transporting patients, answering request from patients indoor calls, reporting severe observations to the nursing supervisors.
- * Preserve patient stability by checking their vital signs, weight, pressure,temperature, urine testing, recording output and intake of information.
- * Filling and completing forms, reports, file logs, and patient records.
- * Keeping patients information confidential by protecting them from unassigned people or unwanted request.
- * Following working code of conduct and following policies to maintain work operations.
- * Adding more value to your work by participating in voluntary help through the hospital by using your own will to design new help operations to patients, exploring opportunities which adds more and good reputation to your credibility.
- * Updating your knowledge as a cna through other educational trainings and opportunities, reading more cna stuffs from online, joining professional organizations and maintaining your license
